Forgive our lawmakers for falling short: Congressional Hits and Misses

In closing out the first session of the 116th Congress at the beginning of 2020, House Chaplain Patrick J. Conroy asked for “forgiveness” when “the efforts of this Congress have fallen short.” If that’s any indication of what’s to come for the rest of 2020, we’re in for a long year.
